No entries can be accepted after entries close - although if you make an additional donation to the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter Service of at least $100 we will consider it!
All competitors (except the 5km runners) must carry the required compulsory gear. This is the minimum based on good weather. If the weather forecast is not looking good three days out then we will advise competitors of any additional requirements.
Water or hydration drink (it is suggested that an individual should carry 1.5 litres) race food, cap or hat, whistle, waterproof jacket, survival blanket. The whistle and survival blanket are included in your race pack.

Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations
Refunds before 1 July will be subject to a $20 administration fee. Refunds from 1 July to 30 September will be reimbursed at 50% of the entry fee paid.
Please note there are no refunds (other than as detailed below for Covid-19 cancellation) from 30 September 2021 - please do not ask as a refusal always offends!
Entries are not transferable to another participant.
Entries are not transferable to future events.
You may change to a shorter distance but there is no refund for the difference in entry price. Changes must be requested via email before November 8 or at the information desk at Athlete Check In on November 12.
Force Majeure: In the case of event cancellation due to extreme inclement weather (at the discretion of event officials), or other reasons beyond the control of the event organisers, entry fees are non-refundable.
If the Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run has to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, then competitors can opt for one of the following options:
1. Transfer your entry to the 2022 Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run OR
2. Receive an event credit for the value of your entry to be used at one of our other events - 2021 Run the Vines or 2022 Hammer Nutrition Hawke’s Bay Trail Run Series OR
3. A refund of your entry fee, minus a $20 administration charge.
**As stated in the Event Waiver, there are no transfers. Under no circumstance are you permitted to give your number to another person. The safety of our athletes is paramount, therefore we need to ensure we have correct details of all our runners on course. As our event is run on private land, any unregistered runners are trespassing and will be dealt with accordingly.
All refund requests must be sent via email to Rachael Verry, Jamrac Events Ltd email firstname.lastname@example.org. All refund requests will be responded to within 48 hours. If you do not receive a response then we have not received your request.
